What is the best way to reach 4-star superior Ferienhotel Sonnenhof? 
Coming from Innsbruck or Salzburg – heading towards the Zillertal – take the first Zell am Ziller exit – ca. 200 m to the right.

Is a late check-out possible at the Sonnenhof? 
No, Ferienhotel Sonnenhof does not offer a late check-out.

What are the check-in and check-out times? 
Check-in: you can check in to you room starting at 2:00 pm.
Check-out: we ask that you check out by 10:00 am.

How long can you make a cancellation for free? 
Up to 3 months prior to arrival, a free cancellation is possible.

Is a deposit required to guarantee a booking? 
Yes, € 200 per room, which will guarantee your booking.

What type of payment do you accept?
We accept payments in cash and payments by Maestro debit card, Visa, and Mastercard.

Is there a cost deduction for accommodations with only breakfast? 
If you prefer a booking with only breakfast, € 9 per adult will be deducted from the price (depending on age for children).

Is parking available? Is there a charge for parking? 
Yes, parking spaces are available, and they are free. We also offer some covered spaces – however, reservations are not possible.

Are there seminar rooms in the hotel? 
The Sonnenhof does not offer seminar or conference rooms.

Is there an elevator in the hotel and in the country house?
Yes, both there is an elevator in both the hotel and the country house.

Will we be able to read our usual newspapers here? 
Unfortunately, we do not have newspapers – however, there is a small book corner, where you can borrow books.

Is there Internet in the hotel and how much does it cost? 
WLAN is available for free throughout the hotel and in the country house (no code necessary).

Is smoking allowed in the hotel? Is there a special smoking area? 
Our hotel is a non-smoking hotel. We have a separate smoking lounge available for smokers. Of course, the balconies in the rooms are also available.

Can cigarettes be purchased at the hotel? 
Yes, we have a cigarette vending machine in the hotel entrance area.

Do you offer a special children’s program? 
In July & August from Monday to Friday, we offer a children’s program for kids 4 and older.

Do you have a children’s playground? 
We have a very large playground with ca. 800 m².

What are the opening times of the wellness area?
Indoor pool: from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm
Sauna: in summer from 4:00 to 9:00 pm, in winter from 3:00 to 9:00 pm
Outdoor pool: in winter from 3:00 to 7:00 pm and in summer from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm 

Are bathrobes and towels available? 
Bathrobes and towels are available for free.

Can spa treatments be booked? 
Various massage treatments are available to choose from.

Can we bring our dog with us to Zell am Ziller? Are pets allowed? 
Dogs are allowed ONLY upon request. We charge € 20 per dog per day (not incl. food); unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the restaurant or wellness area.

Can skis & snowboards be stored in the hotel / country house? 
There is one separate ski locker per room, which can be opened with your room card.

Can bicycles or e-bikes be rented? 
Bicycles, mountain bikes, and e-bikes can be rented for a fee.

Are there rooms with connecting doors? 
Yes, our family rooms and suites have connecting doors.

What are the dining times?
Breakfast: from 7:30 to 10:00 am
Dinner: from 6:30 to 8:00 pm

How far is the country house from the main house? 
The country house is ca. 60 m away – there is no underground connection to the main house. You must cross the yard.

Where do guests dine in the country house? 
All guests dine in the main house.

How do you reach the wellness area from the country house? 
You must cross the yard to reach the main house (ca. 60 m) – there is no connecting passage.

Can ski passes be purchased at the Sonnenhof? 
Yes, with a stay of 2 or more days, you can purchase the Zillertal ski pass here.

Is a washing machine and dryer available to guests? 
Yes, tokens for the use of the washing machine and dryer can be purchased (1 token per wash = € 4).

Are there vegetarian dishes? 
We will be happy to prepare vegetarian dishes for you upon request!

Is there lactose-free and gluten-free cuisine? 
When making your booking, please let us know if you have a food intolerance, allergy, etc. so that we can take this into consideration.
