Ski slope fun in the Zillertal Arena

Get ready, get set, go! Only 4 minutes from your vacation accommodations, the Rosenalm lift will take you up to the first-class ski area. With 143 km of the best prepared slopes and 52 state-of-the-art lifts, the Zillertal Arena is the largest ski area in the Zillertal and extends from Zell am Ziller over Gerlos to the state of Salzburg.

In the Zillertal Arena, the pulse of all winter athletes will race faster with excitement! Carve down glistening deep snow slopes or experience the fascination of freestyle skiing in the Action-Park Kreuzwiese with snake run, bag jump, SkiMovie, and speed check! Numerous après-ski bars, cozy huts, snow bars, and a children’s restaurant in the Arena Center will make your skiing day an even more enjoyable experience.

Awarded ski area
In 2017, the Zillertal was awarded as the test winner in the category “best ski valley” by Skiresort.de, the world’s largest test portal of ski areas. And in 2018, our ski area – the Zillertal Arena – was distinguished as a “5-star ski area”.

The Höhenfresser tour

When you peek out the window in the morning, you will see Austria’s longest valley run with a 50% gradient and a slope width of 30 to 40 meters. It’s also a spectacular sight for experienced skiers! From the Übergangsjoch, you can ski 8.4 km down the slope into the valley and conquer an unbelievable 1,930 vertical meters.

Zillertaler Super Ski Pass

The Zillertal is the largest ski valley in the world and impresses with a total of 3 huge ski areas and the Hintertux Glacier, Austria’s only year-round ski area. The Zillertal super ski pass opens the doors to all 179 lifts in the valley with 515 km of magnificent ski slopes. With the Zillertal super ski pass, you can also use public transportation from and to the lifts for free.
