Definitely not from bad parents: summer & winter fun for kids in the Zillertal Arena.

Yes, everyone says that, but we are sure: nowhere else offers so much. Just look at the winter: dedicated children's slopes in the ski area, the ski schools offer a children's pick-up service and a children's program with a witches' safari, balloon launch, children's snow rafting, children's ski disco, ski kindergarten & children's ski race with prize-giving.
And apart from that, there's also plenty to discover. The Gerlosstein ice castle, the floodlit toboggan run & snow tubing on the Gerlosstein, snow and action parks.

And in summer? Arena Coaster, children's paradise Fichtenschloss & Fichtensee on the Rosenalm, family activity program and not forgetting the Zell leisure park with its spectacular range of activities.

Summer & tobogganing? Really brilliant! The Arena-Coaster, the alpine rollercoaster of the Zillertal Arena, right next to the valley station of the Rosenalmbahn, just a few minutes' walk away. Here are a few more facts:

Total route length 1,450 m (325 m uphill, 1,1125 m downhill)
Height difference 140 m, up to 9 m difference in height to the ground
approx. 6 - 7 minutes ride time

Paddle across the Fichtensee with the cone shed boat, switch to the SUP, then head into the cool water of the Fichtensee with a Köpfler. It's great fun.

Especially if you have visited the Fichtenschloss beforehand - the huge home of the spruce gnomes with a lookout and climbing tower, slides, treetop path, wooden ball track, adventure playground, spruce gnome construction hut and hammock forest.

Happiness on earth lies on the back of a horse - for young and old alike. Taking riding lessons on well-trained school horses is a very special experience.

At the Fehlehof in Aschau, very close to our Sonnenhof, kids and parents can take individual lessons, ride ponies or go on a horse-drawn carriage ride together.

Sliding over the snow on a rubber tire, learning how to turn really fast in the snow and daring to do an air jump in the snow park - that's what the kids like. And what is incredibly fun. And not just for the youngsters ;-)

Have you ever tobogganed over snow on an inflatable rubber tire? That's a lot of fun! And in the Gerlosstein ski area you can try it out on specially prepared tracks.

The best thing about it: snow tubing is free and can be used as often as you like. And if sliding down the tires isn't enough fun for you, simply hop on a toboggan and ride the 7 km long toboggan run down to the Gerlossteinbahn valley station.

Skiing properly needs to be learned. And it's only really fun when you can do it. Then no fun run is left out and the slopes become a cool playground.

To ensure that this works, top ski instructors teach the fun of winter sports with lots of wit and charm and offer a wide range of additional activities. This makes a skiing vacation pure fun even for the little ones.

Fun park, chill area by the Indian tents, fun run, SkiMovie course & speed course. Action for beginners and experts. You'll find all this at the Actionpark Kreuzwiese, right in the Zillertal Arena. A special highlight to match the Actionpark: the Shredschool. Motivated winter sports enthusiasts of all ages who are passionate about freestyle skiing & snowboarding can take part in their own workshops here.

By the way: Gerlos and Hochkrimml also have their own snow parks. Fun guaranteed!
