What is the best way to get to the 4 star Ferienhotel Sonnenhof?
Coming from Innsbruck or Salzburg - direction Zillertal - first exit Zell am Ziller - approx. 200 m to the right.

Does the Sonnenhof also offer late check-out?
No, the Ferienhotel Sonnenhof does not have a late check-out facility.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-In: You can check into your room from 14.00 pm.
Check-Out: Your room is at your disposal until 10.00 am.

How long can we cancel free of charge?
Cancellation is possible free of charge up to one month before arrival.

Do I have to pay a deposit to secure the booking?
Yes, € 200,- per room, this serves to secure the booking.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash and payment by Maestro debit card, Visa and Mastercard.

Is there a reduction for bed and breakfast only?
If you prefer a booking with breakfast only, € 9,- per adult will be deducted (children depending on age).

Are parking spaces available? Are these subject to a charge?
Yes, parking spaces are available. These are free of charge. We also have partially covered parking spaces - but reservations are not possible here.

Is there an e-charging station?
There are 2 charging stations (Chargepoint) available (for a fee).

Are there seminar rooms in the hotel?
There are no seminar rooms or conference facilities at the Sonnenhof.

Is there an elevator in the hotel and in the country house?
Yes, both the Ferienhotel and the Landhaus are equipped with an elevator.

Can we read our usual newspapers at your hotel?
Unfortunately, we do not have any newspapers available - but there is a small book corner to borrow.

Is there internet in the hotel and how much does it cost?
WLAN is available throughout the hotel and in the Landhaus free of charge (without a code).

Is smoking allowed in the hotel? Is there a special smoking area?
Our hotel is a non-smoking hotel. There is a separate smokers' lounge for all smokers. The balcony in the rooms is of course also available.

Can I buy cigarettes from you?
Yes, we have a cigarette vending machine in the hotel entrance area.

Do you have a children's playground?
We have a very large children's playground with an area of approx. 800 m².

What are the opening hours of the wellness area?
Indoor pool: from 07:00 to 21:00
Sauna: in summer from 16:00 to 21:00, in winter from 15:00 to 21:00
Outdoor pool: in winter from 15:00 to 19:00 and in summer from 07:00 to 20:00

Do you provide bathrobes and towels?
Bathrobes and towels are of course available free of charge.

Can I book spa treatments?
You can choose from various massage treatments.

Can we take our dog with us to Zell am Ziller? Are pets allowed?
Dogs are ONLY allowed on request. We charge € 20,- per dog per day (without food), unfortunately your pet is not allowed in the restaurant and wellness area.

Can we store our skis & snowboards in the hotel / country house?
There is a separate ski locker per room, which can be opened with the room card.

Do you also hire out bicycles or even e-bikes?
Bicycles, mountain bikes and e-bikes are available to hire for a fee.

Do you have rooms with connecting doors?
Yes, our family rooms and suites have connecting doors.

What are the meal times?
Breakfast: from 07.00 to 10.00
Dinner: from 18.30 to 20.00

How far is the country house from the main house?
The country house is approx. 60 m away - there has been an underground connection to the main house since 2025.

Where do meals take place for rooms in the Landhaus?
All our guests dine in the main house.

How do I get from the Landhaus to the wellness area?
You can access the main house and the wellness area via the underground connection.

Can I buy ski passes at the Sonnenhof?
Yes, you can purchase the Zillertal Superskipass for stays of 2 days or more.

Is there a washing machine and dryer available for your guests?
Yes, coins for the use of the washing machine and dryer can be purchased (1 coin per wash = € 4,-).

Are vegetarian dishes also available?
We are happy to prepare vegetarian dishes for you on request!

Is lactose- and gluten-free cuisine available?
Please let us know at the time of booking if you have any food intolerances, allergies, etc. so that we can take these into consideration.

Is it true that there is a Sonnenhof vineyard?
Yes, we have our own vineyard in Burgenland, where we produce seven different wines. You are welcome to taste these wines directly at the hotel or take them home with you as a souvenir.

How far away is the ski area?
The Zillertal Arena is only a 4-minute walk from the Sonnenhof.

Is there a ski bus or hotel shuttle?
Yes, the ski bus stops right outside the hotel.

How far away is the nearest ski rental?
There are several ski rental shops directly at the valley station of the Zillertal Arena.

Are there shopping facilities in Zell am Ziller?
The town center is approx. 1 km from the Hotel Sonnenhof. There are numerous stores here.

Is there a sports program or activity program?
In summer and winter there is an in-house activity program.

Where is the best place to go hiking and biking?
There are wonderful opportunities right on the doorstep.

Where is the nearest ATM?
Directly in the center of Zell am Ziller - about 1 km away.
