Or grab your bike and explore the region by bike - in the valley on the 31 km long Zillertal Cycle Path, which leads from Strass to Mayhofen. Or head up the mountain, cruise at lofty heights and get your thrills on exciting descents on the downhill routes and first-class single trails.

Zillertal Activcard
The Zillertal Activcard valid from the end of May to the beginning of October, is the key to incomparable mountain experiences, unique highlights and free use of public transport in the Zillertal (except steam train). The Activcard also includes a daily ascent and descent on one of the ten spectacular summer mountain lifts in the Zillertal. You also receive free admission to all six outdoor swimming pools in the Zillertal and great discounts with many benefit partners.
Excursion tip Kreuzwiesenalm
On one of the most beautiful and sunniest spots in the Zillertal Arena, the Kreuzwiesenalm at 1,884 m invites you to enjoy tasty Tyrolean specialties and delicious refreshments. On the unique panoramic terrace, you can enjoy pleasant sunshine with spectacular views of the Zillertal mountains. And the best thing about it: you can hike or cycle to the Kreuzwiesenalm on an e-bike.

Bike rental at the Sonnenhof
With us, you don't have to travel long distances to find a suitable bike. At the Sonnenhof, we rent out bicycles, mountain bikes and new e-mountain bikes so that you can hop on the saddle comfortably and independently at any time of day. We are also happy to offer guided bike tours on request.
Bike ticket Zell-Gerlos
With the Zell-Gerlos bike ticket, you can take one ascent in Zell and one in Gerlos and get up to 1,800 m quickly and easily with the bike-friendly gondolas - ideal for mountain bike & downhill freaks who want to make the most of the Zillertal Bike Arena.
