At Sonnenhof, we place great importance on living in harmony with nature – and we do everything we can to achieve this:
With our photovoltaic system and solar heating, we harness the power of the sun, while our wood-fired heating system uses regional wood to provide cozy warmth. And our green roof is not only beautiful to look at, it also protects the environment.
The herbs for our delicious dishes and teas? They come directly from our own garden, as do the floral decorations in the hotel. The eggs on the breakfast table are laid by hens from the neighboring farm, and that's also where we get our honey. Our meat comes from our own cattle, which graze on lush Zillertal pastures. And the fresh milk? That comes from here too. Regional, sustainable, authentic – that's our Sonnenhof. Come and experience for yourself how good nature tastes!

As part of our delicious half-board pampering package, we serve you tasty culinary delights made from selected ingredients every day at the Sonnenhof. Herbs, fruits, and more are lovingly processed into jams, spreads, and teas, which we serve you for breakfast, and our high-quality meat for dinner comes directly from our own mountain farm, “Am Kendl.”
Just a few meters from your vacation home, your host's brother runs a modern farm with pasture and free-range livestock, supplying our creative kitchen team with fresh, high-quality products from his own production. The game specialties at the Sonnenhof also come from our own hunting grounds.
Inspired by the landscape and aromatic diversity of Tyrol, all these ingredients are used at the Sonnenhof to create unique delicacies with an unmistakably fine taste.
